VOLLEYBALL

Record: 8-14 overall, 5-1 NWAC West, tied for first.

This week: Green River at Clark, 7 p.m. Wednesday; Clark at SW Oregon Crossover, Friday-Saturday.

Recent results: def. Highline (25-21, 25-23, 18-25, 23-25, 15-6); def. Grays Harbor (23-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-20).

Highlights: vs. Highline: Jazmyn Boyd-Clark 19 kills, 11 digs; Janessa Mast 17 kills 12 digs. vs. Grays Harbor: Boyd-Clark 14 kills; Meghan Turner 18 digs; Mast 13 kills.

MEN’S SOCCER

Record: 11-1-3 overall, 7-0-3 NWAC South, first place.

Ranking: No. 3 in NWAC coaches poll (Oct. 3).

This week: Clark at South Puget Sound, 4:15 p.m. Wednesday; Peninsula at Clark, 2 p.m. Saturday.

Last week: def. Pierce 5-2 (Jose Rivera 2 goals, 1 assist); def. Chemeketa 5-0 (shutout for GK McKay Owsley).

Season scoring leaders: Ian Schimandle 6 goals, Octavio Hermosillo 3 goals, 2 assists.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Record: 5-5-5 overall, 4-3-5 NWAC South, third place.

Ranking: No. 10 with 2 votes in NWAC coaches poll (Oct. 3).

This week: Clark at Lane, 2 p.m. Wednesday; Clark at Clackamas (Oregon City HS Stadium), 1 p.m. Friday.

Last week: tied Pierce 0-0 (shutout for GK Victoria Fulton); tied Chemeketa 2-2 (Karina Jimenez 2 goals).

Season scoring leaders: Brenna Bogle 9 goals; Brooke Kates 3 goals, 2 assists.

CROSS COUNTRY

Last event: Clark’s James Breen finished fourth overall in 26:30.00 at the Mike Hodges Invitational at Clackamas. Erica Koranda was seventh for the Clark women in 20:03.00.

Next event: The Southern Region championship is Oct. 25 at Oregon City.
