Woman faces 93 charges in Portland auto theft case

Portland police arrested a woman on suspicion of 93 charges connected to a large-scale auto theft investigation that included parts of Clark County.

Andrea Nichole Schneider, 24, was one of three dozen people arrested in connection to the investigation that centers around West Coast Car Crushing and A1 Light Truck and Van Parts, both located in North Portland.

She faces two counts of racketeering, 22 counts of illegal salvage and 23 counts each of first-degree theft, unlawful possession of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Police served search warrants at five locations on April 8, including two addresses in Vancouver: 516 W. Fourth Plain Blvd. and 514 N.E. 40th St.

Portland police have been assisted by numerous other agencies, including the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
