Alissa Pudlitzke of Camas girls cross country was voted The Columbian’s high school fall sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 18.
Pudlitzke collected 56 percent of the 2,049 votes cast by fans to beat out Page Heller of Columbia River volleyball, who had 22 percent.
Pudlitzke won a league tri-meet with Union and Mountain View and placed fifth in Girls Elite race at the George Fox XC Classic
The other nominees were Silas Griffith of Ridgefield boys cross country, Livi Cox of Union swimming and Spencer Tibbits of Fort Vancouver golf.
