Frightful fun for all ages fills this weekend. Frightland at La Center Farms is a scare designed for ages 5 and older, with the House of Dr. Rigor Mortis, the Donner Party Cafe and the Haunted Woods trail. The themed area will be open 1 to 4 p.m. today and Sunday at La Center Farms, 31215 N.E. 40th Ave., La Center. Admission is $3, $2 for children, free for ages 5 and younger, $8 for a family of four. Camas Parks and Recreation will host Family Halloween Night, featuring a night of carnival games, costume contests, fall crafts and activities for ages 2 to 12 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at Liberty Middle School, 1612 N.E. For those who like bigger frights, the Fear PDX features three haunts for one admission price. Visitors will wander into The Slaughter, where a whole family of cannibals awaits in their cabin in the woods; The Curse, where visitors must make their way through the maze of an old voodoo temple, with monsters in the shadows; and The Outbreak, where a zombie apocalypse isn’t the worst thing to stumble across. The haunted attraction is open 7 to 11 p.m. tonight, and 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday in the Vancouver Plaza, 7701 N.E. Vancouver Plaza Drive, Vancouver. Tickets are $20, $35 for fast pass. Spooky fun continues this month with a variety of costumed parties, harvest festivals and mystery. Peek into the other side with “Haunted: A Night of Magic,” featuring master mentalist Jay Fredericks and his magician cohorts Oct. 23-25 at the Magenta Theater, 606 Main St., Vancouver. And the cult classic film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” rated R, will get a special Halloween showing Oct. 31. The Denton Delinquents be the “shadow cast’ performing along with the movie, with audience participation encouraged, along with a costume contest at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., Vancouver.
