Sgt. Pete Simpson says 18-year-old Wesley Curtis has been booked into Multnomah County Jail on a murder charge and 23-year-old Adam Elder faces charges of assault, conspiracy to commit assault and failure to register as a sex offender.
The victim, 43-year-old Marc Sundin, wandered bleeding through a downtown park before dying on a sidewalk near City Hall shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday. The cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.
