Letter: It’s just bad law in search of a cause

Initiative 594 is simply an attempt to place more controls on law-abiding gun owners with no reduction in injury or death. I corresponded with the I-594 group and asked them to support their claims. They made broad statements but refused to provide any links, details or facts to support their position. In my experience when someone makes claims but can’t or won’t supply facts to support them they are not being truthful.

Everything I-594 purports to do is already done. It will do nothing to reduce crime or death by gun. It’s Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg and other wealthy elites’ efforts to punish law-abiding citizens.
