Skyview freshman Andrew Kabacy qualified for the 4A state tennis tournament by defeating Camas senior Jonathan Ho 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 in the 4A district second-place match Monday at Club Green Meadows.

Mountain View’s doubles team of Justin Yee and Mark Bajtay also booked a spot at state with a 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4) win over Union’s Zhengyi Chen and Bjorn Morfin.

That win gives Mountain View two doubles teams and a singles player for state in May. Tyler Sparling and Nick Shiraishi won the doubles title on Saturday, and Colton Reed won the singles title.
