Letter: Retain Byron Hanke

The Columbian
Published: October 27, 2014, 12:00am

It is with pleasure that I write this letter in support of re-electing Byron Hanke for commissioner with Clark Public Utilities. Hanke has always represented Clark Public Utilities with pride and integrity. He cares about his ratepayers and public power. Hanke is not a person to fill a room with noise, so when he speaks, others listen. Hanke is a dedicated public servant who is respected by his peers in the utility industry.

As commissioner for Pend Oreille Public Utility District and past president of Washington PUD Association, I encourage voters to re-elect Hanke.
