Trick-or-treaters can expect a high risk of showers so have a Plan B for the little ones as they are out and about. Maybe we’ll just have showers and a dry window in the evening; can’t be sure. The weekend at this point doesn’t look all that bad, cool and mostly cloudy both days, with a few sun breaks. Maybe a lingering drip or two early Saturday. Next week is cool and rainy.
The holidays are a fast approaching and not too soon to think about some weather instruments to go under the tree. I’ll be sharing some ideas with you between now and then. Local weather watcher Matt Sloan tinkers with restoration and collection of high-quality weather instruments. I have seen his products and highly recommend taking a look. You can check out his Facebook page at http://tinyurl.com/m8832b4.
Don’t forget to turn your clocks back Saturday night. We get that pesky hour of sleep back finally! You will notice the early darkness in the late afternoon when we have solid cloud cover next week. Be safe!
