EmpRes Healthcare, an employee-owned health care management company based in Vancouver, has leased five skilled nursing centers and an assisted living/retirement center. The facilities are in Bellingham, Snohomish, Spokane and Lewiston, Idaho.
EmpRes leased the facilities from Aviv Reit Inc., which simultaneously purchased these properties from the principals of Evergreen Living Centers Inc. EmpRes Healthcare-affiliated companies currently operate 12 skilled nursing and post-acute care centers in Washington and one center in Idaho. EmpRes affiliates also recently acquired three home health agencies that now operate as Eden Home Health in Bellingham; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Reno and Carson City, Nev.
