Students in K-8 enrolled in the state’s online academy will meet each other and their teachers from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Marshall Community Park, south of Marshall Community Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd.

Washington Virtual Academy is a tuition-free, online public school, serving K-12 students statewide. Students attend full time and do all their coursework online.

Back to School Park Day is an opportunity for K-12 students at WVA, their families and their teachers to meet face to face, have some fun and figure out their school routines. Families interested in enrolling in the online program are welcome.
