A 7-year-old girl was critically injured in a vehicle crash this evening in rural Battle Ground that also injured the girl’s mother and two siblings, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash involving a southbound minivan and a westbound Chevrolet pickup occurred shortly before 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 219th Street and 182nd Avenue. The sheriff’s office did not release details Wednesday about how the vehicles crashed or what might have caused the collision.

The woman driving the minivan and her three children were all hospitalized; the 7-year-old girl was flown by Life Flight helicopter to a local hospital, the sheriff’s office said.

The man driving the pickup was not injured.

Members of the agency’s traffic unit blocked the roadway as they investigated the crash Wednesday night. The intersection is a four-way stop.
