Plan to come in an hour prior to appointment to peruse the garden center, taking notes on what plant material you would like to include in your design, and we will help you design your new landscape. o Bonsai made easy workshop: 11 a.m. Sept. 20. Learn the qualities and traits to look for when selecting a plant. You will go home with a bonsai-in-training. Silent observers welcome free of charge. * Registration required. Fee $35 includes starter bonsai plant, pot and potting supplies.

o Spruce up your fall containers: 11 a.m. Sept. 27. Learn which are the perfect plants to help keep your container gardens looking good through the fall and winter months.


Backyard Composting:
