Sherrie Crang-Geiger of Camas will be inducted into the University of Idaho athletic hall of fame this weekend.
She competed at Idaho from 1981-84 in cross country and in track and field. For the Vandals, she competed at the NCAA track and field national championships in 1983 and 1984. She also ran in the 5,000 meters at the 1984 United States Olympic Trials.
Crang-Geiger is a 1981 graduate of Hudson’s Bay High School. She is one of six members of this year’s Vandals hall of fame class.
