Letter: Error in judgment arises

The Columbian

I read the Aug. 31 story “Bored? Get your board time fix here,” about how Clark County Commissioner Tom Mielke recently talked about how commissioners should have an increase to their car allowance. Apparently, $700 a month is not enough for him. Wow! When I read how much he gets in salary for his position and the types of benefits he receives, I have to wonder who he is really serving. I don’t thinks it’s us, the working middle class. Being a Republican has me questioning his actions and his “conservative” rhetoric. I wonder why I even voted for him in the first place.
