CAMAS — Opponents in four high-profile political races will take the stage one night next month in the Camas High School Theater.

On Oct. 13, the Camas Youth Advisory Council will host its 12th annual political candidate forum, giving the community another chance to get to know the people on the November ballot.

These candidates were invited to the event:

• U.S. Rep. Jamie Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, and Democrat Bob Dingethal.

• State Rep. Liz Pike, R-Camas, and Democrat Maureen Winningham, Pike’s Democratic challenger for Pos. 1 in the 18th District.

• State Rep. Brandon Vick, R-Felida, and Mike Briggs, Vick’s Democratic opponent for Pos. 2 in the 18th District.

• Democrat Craig Pridemore and Republican Jeanne Stewart, vying for an open seat on the Board of Clark County Commissioners.

The forum kicks off at 7 p.m. at the high school, 26900 S.E. 15th St., Camas.
