Letter: Townsend will be asset to office

The Columbian
Published: September 20, 2014, 5:00pm

The Sept. 14 article “In Townsend’s résumé, disputes over integrity” was slanted in a negative way about Josephine Townsend. Perhaps The Columbian could write a negative article about Tony Golik to even the score.

Townsend is a compassionate person who would bring to the office of Clark County prosecutor an atmosphere of fairness, which is lacking in the current administration. Townsend would listen to both sides of the case and proceed in a competent, understanding manner.

Townsend is an excellent defense attorney and is quick to help those who are unable to afford an attorney. These characteristics would be a great asset in the prosecutor’s office.

Vote for Josie Townsend and bring fresh air and fairness to that office.
