For Rylee Seekins, it was a hat trick plus something extra.

The Hockinson junior scored three goals and assisted on another in a 4-1 win over Woodland on Tuesday.

The win kept the Hawks unbeaten in Class 2A Greater St. Helens League play at 4-0.

Hockinson kept pace with Ridgefield, which moved to 5-0 with a 4-0 win over Hudson’s Bay.

Hockinson and Ridgefield play their first of two league matches Oct. 7 at Ridgefield High School.

Natalie Johnson added two assists for the Hawks, which peppered the Woodland goal. Beavers goalkeeper Delanie Anderson finished with 11 saves.

Seekins is the returning 2A GSHL co-offensive player of the year, having scored 23 goals and tallied 10 assists last season.

The Oct. 7 clash against Ridgefield will see her clash with Spudders super sophomore Taryn Reis, who scored 20 goals last season.
