SEATTLE — Police in the south Seattle suburb of Kent say a 1-year-old child was shot in the head late Thursday afternoon in what was described as a case of road rage.
Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg said the baby girl was in “very critical condition.”
KOMO-TV reported that police say a black car pulled alongside a silver car in an area near an apartment complex and both the driver and passenger in the black vehicle opened fire. A baby girl in the silver car was hit as she sat in her car seat. Two adults were in the car with the child.
The two people in the black car drove off.
