GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. — Firefighters are expected to use 1.5 million gallons of water to put out a blaze that destroyed a Government Camp condo, prompting a boil water warning for the area.

KOIN news in Portland reports officials are warning the 150 residents currently on the system that pressure will be low and that they should boil drinking water.

About 750,000 gallons of water had been used by Monday night, and KGW-TV reports that total could reach 1.5 million as firefighters continue working to put out the blaze Tuesday.

No injuries have been reported. Most of the 30 condos were vacation homes, and only three were occupied when the fire was reported at 3 p.m. Monday.
