Vancouver — The Port of Vancouver has received two clean audits from the Washington state Auditor’s Office.
In reports issued Monday, the auditor’s office said it found no deficiencies in the port’s financial reporting and control over federal programs.
The auditor’s office also said the port complied with state laws and adequately safeguarded public resources in the areas the auditor’s office examined: marine terminal revenues; procurement; payroll; financial condition; accounts payable disbursements; cash receipting; self-insurance and conflict of interest.
The audits were for the period Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 31, 2014.
