Vancouver police respond to reported pistol-whipping

Police have responded to Vancouver’s Parkside neighborhood for a reported assault with a weapon.

Police received a 911 call at about 10:45 a.m., which reported that someone had been pistol whipped at a residence, 3612 N.E. 151st St., and was in the garage, according to emergency radio traffic monitored by the Columbian.

The suspect was reportedly in a dark-colored Honda and was detained by police a short time later, according to the scanner.
