VANCOUVER — Grammy-winning guitarist Doug Smith will be featured at the Clark County Historical Museum’s annual fundraising event from 5 to 9 p.m. May 9 at Club Green Meadows, 7703 N.E. 72nd Ave.

Tickets for the dinner and auction are $65 for Clark County Historical Society members, $75 for nonmembers, and $520 for a table of eight.

A visit from “Laura Slocum,” a local pioneer, is also expected. Guests will be able to bid on local goods and services in the silent auction.

Proceeds benefit museum programs such as the “First Thursday” lecture series, historic walking tours of downtown Vancouver and Ridgefield, and the ongoing work of collecting and preserving Clark County’s history.

Tickets should be purchased by Monday. They are available at the museum, 1511 Main St.; by phone at 360-993-5679; and at www.cchmuseum.org/2015-auction.
