LA SALLE CATHOLIC COLLEGE PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL

Tegan Stuart of Vancouver, daughter of Jon and Sharman Stuart of Vancouver, is a 2015 graduate of La Salle Catholic College Preparatory High School in Milwaukie, Ore. She plans to pursue a career in health care and will attend Saint Mary’s College of California, where she was awarded a renewable Honors at Entrance Scholarship, and a renewable Lasallian Leadership Scholarship.

UNION HIGH SCHOOL/CLARK COUNTY SKILLS CENTER

Leslie Garcia, a 2015 graduate and daughter of Blanca and Luis Garcia, plans to study nursing at the University of Washington Bothell. She received a Health Care Career Scholarship from Kaiser Permanente.

VANCOUVER SCHOOL OF ARTS AND ACADEMICS

Ryan T. Hanrahan, son of Junelle and Don Lawry, plans to major in visual and media arts at The Evergreen State College. Hanrahan received an Evergreen Scholastic Achievement Award, the Margery B. Brown Memorial Media Fund, and a scholarship from the Clark County Fair Association.

VANCOUVER VIRTUAL ACADEMY

Lauren Siess plays the viola and will attend The Juilliard School in New York on a Kovner Fellowship, which includes tuition, room, board and a monthly stipend. She attended Vancouver School of Arts and Academics through her sophomore year, then completed her studies at Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles and graduated from Vancouver Virtual Academy. She is the daughter of Tim Siess and Stacy Edgar of Vancouver.

Leadership committee

Keithen Shepard, an incoming junior at Union High School, has been selected to serve on the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association student Leadership through Education Activities and Personal development (LEAP) committee representing more than 250,000 participants in high school and middle school athletics and activities statewide. Shepard was one of 16 high school juniors and seniors selected statewide to serve on the LEAP committee.
