Nautilus Inc. has won another round in its battle against counterfeiters of its Bowflex products, the company announced Tuesday. The company helped federal authorities to convict Chunchai “Katherine” Yu for bribery and trafficking in counterfeit exercise equipment.

Yu was convicted by a federal jury in Southern California and faces a maximum sentence of 90 years in prison and fines totaling $12.5 million. Nautilus, the Vancouver-based fitness company, said it is continuing to pursue civil litigation against Yu on allegations that she knowingly imported and sold counterfeit Bowflex products.
