A local landlord who allegedly made unwanted sexual contact with a woman while showing her a vacant rental property made a first appearance Wednesday in Clark County Superior Court.
David Clinton Campos, 35, of Vancouver appeared to face allegations of indecent liberties with forcible compulsion and unlawful imprisonment in connection with an Aug. 7 incident. Campos was arrested Tuesday by Vancouver police.
Police said that while Campos was alone with the woman in the apartment at 305 W. McLoughlin Blvd., he made unwanted sexual contact with her.
During his hearing, the prosecution said Campos has no known criminal history but asked bail to be set at $50,000 based on the nature of the alleged crimes.
