Retirement community donates money to Little League

Vancouver Mall — Courtyard Village Vancouver donated a little more than $400 to Salmon Creek Little League on Aug. 21. The independent living retirement community combined the money from its annual garage sale, a donation from its corporation and a matching donation from NW Priority Credit Union for the little league. Terry McChesney, league president, accepted the donation, and 12 players from the league played a game of beanbag baseball against Courtyard Village Vancouver residents.
