Letter: Justification profile

The Columbian
Published: August 27, 2015, 5:00pm

On Aug. 10, Rep. Jim Moeller, D-Vancouver, shared a posting from TheReprimandProject to Rep. Liz Pike’s, R-Camas, Facebook page that attacked “all Republicans who insist on banning abortions because it ‘kills innocent humans,’ ” and called them “hypocrites: arrogant and ignorant” for having “smugly opposed every attempt at safety regulations, gun control, raising the minimum wage, and the ACA.”

Moeller claimed he didn’t agree with the meme yet he posted a similar attack in comments to an Aug. 2 story “5 things about the fight over Planned Parenthood” on The Columbian’s website: “Let’s talk about abortion and Planned Parenthood while we cut the poor off TANF funding (welfare) or SNAP (food) or give even MORE money to the Pentagon than they asked for or take ANOTHER run (over 50 times now) at the repeal of Obamacare (ACA).” He listed these as examples of Republicans’ “bait and switch” tactics.

Further, Moeller hypocritically supports policies that he claims helps the innocent while he supports abortion, which kills an innocent, defenseless human being.

Under what circumstance is it ever justified to kill an innocent human being?

If Moeller really believes abortion is relatively insignificant compared to other policies then I challenge him to post an aborted fetus image to his Facebook and Twitter profiles and to his website for 30 consecutive days.
