Letter: Renew logging on federal lands

The Columbian
Published: August 28, 2015, 5:00pm

With wildfires burning and the recent deaths of three firefighters, I think it is time to let the loggers back into our national forests. Loggers will thin the forests and clean up the debris that makes wildfires so catastrophic. This will also help the economies of traditional logging communities. It is time to do this while we still have forests left.
