Orchards — After 15 years in Alaska, Grace and Craig Mischenko moved to Vancouver recently with their eight children. The 10 of them moved into Lennar Corp.’s Norwegian Hollow community in Vancouver after living in an RV and a rental home, and filmed their first moments in their new house for Lennar’s Unbox Your Home video contest.
The video, which features many of the Mischenko children excitedly running around their home, received the most online votes in the contest, and the Mischenkos were awarded $10,000.
The family donated some of the their winnings to support pastors in the Ukraine who are ministering to a struggling special needs orphanage.
