Letter: Lesson in government needed

I suggest the “powers that be” of Clark County thoroughly study the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, et al, as relates to the separation of church and state.

The Clark County council meeting of Nov. 24 left me wondering where was the sawdust on the floor and where were the “deacons” walking up and down the aisles “passing the collection plates.” This was religious zealotry-idiocy at its worst.

Councilor Jeanne Stewart’s futile efforts to maintain some semblance of order are commended.
