VALHALLA, N.Y. — An official says the five commuter train passengers killed in a fiery crash at a suburban New York crossing were all men.

Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino said Wednesday that no victims’ names would be released until authorities get dental records to make sure of their identities.

They were burned beyond recognition when a Metro-North Railroad train smashed into an SUV that was stopped on the tracks in Valhalla on Tuesday evening. The SUV’s female driver also was killed.

Astorino said the dental records are expected within a day or sooner.
