Vancouver — The Quinn Driscoll Foundation and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center are teaming up to once again offer free heart screenings for teen athletes in Clark County.

The Young Champions heart screening clinic is Feb. 21 at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. The free screenings are open to any Clark County middle or high school athlete, band member or cheerleader ages 12 to 18.

The screenings include a review of the student’s health history, blood pressure check, electrocardiogram and echocardiogram. This screening does not take the place of the physical exam schools require for student athletes.

Advance registration is required. To register for a free screening, visit http://bit.ly/HeartScreening or call 360-514-7755.
