Girls basketball: Battle Ground 52, Evergreen 29

Alena Jarvis hit five 3-pointers and scored 21 points to help Battle Ground force a tiebreaker game for seeding into the 4A district tournament.

With the win, Battle Ground finished tied for third place in the 4A GSHL with Union at 7-5. The two teams will meet at 6:30 p.m. Friday to determine the Nos. 3 and 4 seeds to next week district tournament.

Jossilyn Blackman had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Tigers.
