W.F. West, ranked No. 2 in the state, broke a 13-13 tie with a 10-2 run in the second quarter to win the 1A district playoff game.
Elle Tilkin had 10 points and five rebounds for Hockinson (11-10). Brittany McGuire had 11 rebounds, and Sydnie Cole-Vogler had nine points, nine steals and five rebounds. The Hawks had 20 steals in the game
Hockinson next plays Centralia at 7:45 p.m. Monday at W.F. West in a loser-out game.
