A motorcycle crash at 10:24 a.m. today west of Vancouver Lake sent one man to a local hospital with a possible broken leg.

Two men were riding motorcycles Saturday morning when the first rider failed to negotiate a 90-degree turn where Northwest Lower River Road transitions into Northwest Erwin O. Rieger Memorial Highway. The first motorcyclist crashed. The second motorcyclist struck the fallen rider.

One of the riders is believed to have a broken leg and was transported to a local hospital. Neither alcohol nor speed is considered to be a cause of the crash, according to Vancouver Police Cpl. Duane Boynton.
