Well, it looks like the county councilors are still in the market for some great words of wisdom to put on their meeting room wall.
And I was thinking rather than our councilors deciding what those words should be, why shouldn’t the people decide? Frankly, the councilors should have suggested this, not me. After all, Council Chair David Madore says he is all about “we, the people.” So maybe “we, the people” should decide.
So send me your wall slogans, people! I’ll pick a winner, and we’ll do lunch.
I prefer them by email, but you can put them in the regular mail as well. Have them here no later than Feb. 27. Include your name, age and what community you live in. You’ll get an extra bonus point if you actually go to the next Board of County Councilors meeting and tell them your idea. And two extra bonus points if you suggest — in addition to your idea — my idea: Don’t Do Stupid Stuff!
