Girls basketball: Black Hills 54, Woodland 43

Emma Duff scored 11 of her 24 points in the fourth quarter as Black Hills rallied for 12 points down to eliminate Woodland from the 2A district tournament.

The Beavers led 25-17 at halftime and pushed that lead to 12 in third quarter before the Wolves got within three by the end of the quarter.

Black Hills outscored Woodland 20-6 in the final period to win.

“We played good for 21/2 quarters,” Woodland coach Glen Flanagan said. “But then they just reeled us, caught us and passed us.”

Jessica Flanagan had 16 points and six rebounds for Woodland. Sidra Malik added 12 points, five rebounds and three assists, and McKenna Mulder added 11 points and nine rebounds.
