Skyview overcame a very poor shooting effort in the first half to get past Union in a 4A district semifinal.

Skyview will host Camas for the district title on Thursday.

Skyview led 6-5 after the first quarter, was tied 9-9 at halftime and led 16-14 after three quarters.

“We just could not get the ball in the basket in the first half,” Skyview coach Jennifer Buscher said. “Our rebounding was the only thing that kept us in it.”

Ashlee Comastro led the Storm with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Grace Davis had 13 for Union, which will face Battle Ground in a loser-out game on Thursday.
