Suspects sought in Battle Ground Wal-Mart theft

Man assaulted a Wal-Mart employee while stealing merchandise, police said

Battle Ground police are asking the public to help them identify four suspects allegedly involved in an assault and theft at Wal-Mart.

On Friday, a man assaulted an employee at the store, 1201 S.W. 13th Ave., while stealing merchandise, the Battle Ground Police Department said. Police believe he had female accomplices.

The suspects left the store’s parking lot in what was described to police as a older red car.
