More than two dozen flights are delayed at Portland International Airport today, according to the Port of Portland’s website.

The delayed flights are interspersed throughout the day, including some delays this evening.

For the latest, visit the port’s website, flypdx.com.

Heavy fog is blanketing the metro area this morning, and it extends into the Willamette Valley and as far north as Longview-Kelso. The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory through noon today.

Visibility at the airport and in downtown Vancouver was a quarter mile or less this morning.

The weather service warned that dense fog creates the potential for multi-car accidents on freeways as people drive too fast for conditions.
