• Bruce Davidson, owner of Davidson & Associates Insurance, has been elected as vice president of Safeco Insurance Advisory Council for the northwest region for 2015. He will become president of the council in 2016. Davidson also will participate on Safeco’s national council, which is a collaborative, agent-driven forum that has helped Safeco partner with agents for more than a decade.

• Visit Vancouver USA board of directors for 2015: Brian McClary, director of operations of Heathman Lodge, board chairman; Melinda Wulf, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton, vice chairwoman; and Carla Rise, general manager of Residence Inn by Marriott, secretary/treasurer. New directors include Mike Bomar, president of Columbia River Economic Development Council; Taylor Nintzel, general manager of Hampton Inn & Suites; and Jeanne Stewart, Clark County councilor.

Returning directors for 2015 are Jan Bader, city of Vancouver; Kimberly Bennett, Visit Vancouver USA; Jordan Boldt, Vancouver Farmers Market; Alison Hite, SpringHill Suites by Marriott; Kari Jonassen, Homewood Suites by Hilton; John Morrison, Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds; Eric Walters, Hilton Vancouver Washington.

• Vancouver Radiologists has added Dr. Aubrey Slaughter to their team of radiologists. She received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Slaughter specializes in musculoskeletal imaging and has extensive training in ultrasound-guided procedures.
