The Monarchs started strong, outscoring the Beavers 16-9 in the first quarter, then held off several Woodland pushes.
Four players scored in double figures for Mark Morris, led by 19 points from Grant Gibb.
Woodland coach Jason Buffum said his team could not make up for 10 first-half turnovers. Mark Morris (15-1, 8-0 2A GSHL) also took advantage of 12 offensive rebounds.
“Their extra possessions cost us a chance,” Buffam said.
Ryan Sturdivan scored 21 points and Jake Rosenbalm had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Woodland (10-5, 4-4).
