Clark County Democrats have picked a new team of leaders in preparation for the 2105 local and 2016 presidential elections.

Deanna Pauli-Hammond, who ran for county clerk in 2014, was elected as the board’s new chair, according to a release from the party. Rich Rogers, a precinct committee officer, was elected vice chair. Other members of the board include: Jackie Kuran, treasurer; Melissa Boles, secretary; Tanisha Harris, state committeewoman; and Roy Valo.

The local Democratic party elects or re-elects new officers every two years. Pauli-Hammond replaced former Clark County Democratic Party chairman Mike Heywood, who did not run for re-election.
