The Woodland Beavers rallied to tie twice but could not get it done a third time, falling in double overtime.

Woodland trailed by five with nine seconds to go in regulation when Jessica Flanagan hit a long 3-pointer. After Kalama missed a free throw, Kendall Grell got a lay-up at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

The Beavers were down by four with 10 seconds to go when Flanagan struck again. She made two free throws, and after Kalama made one free throw, Flanagan buried a 25-footer to send the game into the second OT.

Kalama owned the second OT, though, as three Beavers fouled out.

“We ran out of bodies, ran out of dramatics,” Woodland coach Glen Flanagan said.

Jessica Flanagan finished with 25 points and nine rebounds. Sierra Malik had 16 points and seven boards for the Beavers.
