Letter: Paper presents opinions to ponder

I love this paper. Good work, folks.

Kudos to Michael L. Burton for his June 28 letter, “Freedom is worth celebrating.” His letter is a great reminder of what the Fourth of July meant to our grandparents.

About George Will’s June 28 column, “Some questions for candidate Clinton,” this time he really goofed, particularly with the last few “questions,” which make no sense at all. Send a “boo” to George Will.

Steven Mufson’s June 28 opinion essay, “Keep Hamilton on $10, boot Andrew Jackson from $20,” taught me some history I did not know before. I totally agree with his suggestion that Andrew Jackson is not the best example of who we are as Americans, and his picture is not something I want in my wallet. Thank you to Mufson for his suggestion.
