Letter: Tension stoked by White House

The Columbian
Published: July 1, 2015, 12:00am

I have two thoughts on the events of these past weeks.

Regarding the Confederate flag, the events of yesterday cannot be judged by today’s standards.

Racial tensions are at an all-time high in this country. One can look no further than the White House to see who is continually stoking the fires of said tensions; that would be the president with some help from the First Lady.
