Letter: Presidential response appropriate

The Columbian

Having read Pat Gordon’s July 1 letter, “Tension stoked by White House,” blaming President Barrack Obama for stoking the fires of racial tension, I must respond.

It is irrelevant that President Obama is African-American. For the president of the United States of America to not respond to the recent despicable happenings in this country would be irresponsible and chilling. Gordon sounds like part of the problem rather than part of the solution.
