Evergreen district schedules registration for kids at new schools

Families with students new to Evergreen Public Schools or who have moved to a new school area can register their students at the district office this summer in the Clark Room, Tan Conference Center Building at Evergreen Public Schools Administrative Service Center, 13501 N.E. 28th St.

Centralized registration is available from July 14 through Aug. 13. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays.

A Spanish interpreter will be available on Tuesdays and a Russian translator on Thursdays. Interpretation service is not available Mondays or Fridays.

Parents can learn about school requirements and how to make class scheduling appointments at their child’s school.

To register their students, families should bring:

• Proof of residency (a verifiable document with a current address on it, such as a rental/lease agreement or utility bill).

• Birth certificate for students entering kindergarten or first grade.

• Complete immunization records.

• Registration forms.
