Rodeo lovers watched Sunday afternoon as cowboys and cowgirls held on tight to bucking horses and wrestled steers on the final day of the Vancouver Rodeo at the Clark County Saddle Club.

Spectators enjoyed snow cones and other ways to cool off on a day when temperatures in the county reached 95 degrees.

The rodeo featured more than 400 cowboys and cowgirls competing in speed and rough stock events, including barrel racing, bull riding, steer wrestling and saddle bronc riding. The popular mutton bustin’ event featured young sheep riders 8 years old and younger.

Dances took place after the rodeo events on Thursday and Friday.
